Nourish school children in the long term and give them a better future.

By sponsoring a school, you help to ensure the long-term nutrition and education of schoolchildren at one of the selected sponsored schools.

The history

Four steps to sponsorship

1. discover sponsored schools

Discover our sponsored schools and gain a deeper insight into the current situation of the individual schools.

2. select number of children

Choose how many children you would like to feed each month with our school meals – you decide!

3. donations

Pay quickly, easily, securely and free of charge by standing order and order a corresponding invoice.

4. report received

Receive exclusive reports informing you about the progress at your selected school.

Our school sponsorships are so-called project sponsorships. They regularly support children at our sponsored schools. Unlike individual sponsorships, you will not receive information about individual children, but we will keep you informed about the progress and developments at the sponsored schools.

As a sponsor, you support the development of an entire school and thus the progress of the respective region. You also enable us to better plan and finance school nutrition and thus help us to keep administrative costs to a minimum. This enables us to make the best possible use of your donation.

Our sponsor schools

In total, Switzerland ForAfrika supported 23 schools in Angola (to the locations). Of these, the following three are selected sponsor schools that you can support as a sponsor:

Angola

School nutrition in Angola

The project aims to combat malnutrition among 6,500 schoolchildren in the province of Benguela, Angola. Daily nutritious school meals are provided to encourage school attendance and give the children a better future.

The project aims to support health promotion and food security through the construction of a water and sanitation system in vulnerable communities in the Karamoja sub-region of Uganda.

The aim of the project is to establish a SMART Center in the West Nile region of Uganda to improve the food security and resilience of refugee communities through sustainable agricultural technologies.

CAR

A vegetable garden for Jonnathan’s House

The Central African Republic (CAR) has been struggling with serious political and military crises since 2013. Despite its natural wealth and agricultural potential, the country is one of the ten poorest countries in the world. This project aims to combat malnutrition, improve food security and support school education in the Sibut and Ngoumbélé regions.

Training courses, 100 well renovations, 10 boreholes, 20 water tanks and 10 irrigation systems are planned. The planned project promotes hygiene, health, agriculture, livestock farming and food security through access to water.
