"Stiftung Schweiz ForAfrika"
As a partner of Africa’s largest development organization, the ForAfrika Group, we know the challenges that need to be overcome on the ground and support local communities in sustainably overcoming poverty and building a better future for themselves and their families.
Through our work in the areas of nutrition and education, wells and water, agriculture, emergency aid and our aid missions, we support local communities in overcoming poverty in a sustainable way and building a better future for themselves and their families. We help regardless of ethnic origin, religious and political beliefs or gender.
As Switzerland ForAfrika, we are subject to federal foundation supervision and are recognized as a non-profit organization. We also carry the ZEWO seal of approval, which guarantees that donations are handled responsibly.
The “Stiftung schweiz ForAfrika” (formerly Stiftung JAM Schweiz) is subject to supervision by the Federal Department of Home Affairs.

Operational team

Fabienne Stöckli
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
“As a participant as well as an outreach officer, I have seen many times on the ground how ForAfrika’s help in Africa improves the lives of so many people. Fittingly, Nelson Mandela once said, “It always looks impossible – until you’ve done it.”

Fabienne Stöckli
Project Manager Operations
“During my four years as head of operations, I was able to see the sustainability of ForAfrika for myself on the ground. Supervising volunteer teams and making children’s eyes in Africa light up with them fulfills me in my daily work for ForAfrika.”

Victoria Bücker
Fundraising & Project Manager
“What motivates me is the question of how countries can unlock their potential in the long term and how real development becomes possible. I want to contribute to ensuring that countries are not only supported, but that they grow and become sustainably strong. Working at ForAfrika gives me the opportunity to help shape genuine, lasting change.”
ForAfrika Group
The ForAfrika Group is the largest African development organization working for an Africa that thrives.
ForAfrika was founded in 1984 by a South African couple as part of an emergency aid project in Mozambique. Over the years, the work expanded to other countries in Africa and support offices from several intercontinental countries (e.g. we as the Swiss ForAfrica Foundation) joined the vision of ForAfrica – an Africa that thrives. This is how ForAfrika grew to become the largest development organization founded and run by Africans. Together as the ForAfrica Group, we are pursuing the 10-year goal of leading 20 million Africans to independence by 2032.
Thanks to our local roots, we know the challenges facing our communities and how best to tackle them. Our employees often live in the communities we work with. This makes us agile and provides us with local knowledge that feeds into our strategies and strengthens our resilience.
